Santolamazza Fabrizio

BIOGRAPHY

Fabrizio Santolamazza: Fabrizio is a highly trained S&C with multiple international experiences. He is a certified basketball S&C coach with a good background as a player. After graduating in Sport Sciences at the University of Rome, he moved to Finland from 2009 to 2011 to study at the prestigious University of Jyvaskyla where he obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Sport Coaching and Fitness Testing and working at the same time with the local men's basketball team, Jyvaskyla Weikot (Division II).

In 2011/2012 he moved to Spain to work for CAR (High Performance Center) of Barcelona, and also with the American School of Barcelona (PE Teacher and Athletics). From 2012 to 2016 he worked in Rome as a Head of Performance for the competitive youth program San Paolo Ostiense.

From 2016 to 2018 he moved to USA at the NCAA division I level, working as Ass. S&C coach and Research Scholar for the Fairfield "Stags" of coach Sydney Johnson and they reached the MAAC conference final playing for access to the March Madness bracket. From 2018 to 2020 he is the S&C Coach of Virtus Roma, competing at the highest level in Italy (LBA) and winning Serie A2 championship his first year. Fabrizio also participated to several scientific publications for international journals. Perfectly fluent in English and Spanish.
